Hot Politics

Posted by Rich Sweeney on February 12, 2008

About a year ago PBS/ Frontline did a special on the politics of climate change in the US over the past 25 years called “Hot Politics”. Although its expectedly high level, I found the show informative nonetheless. There are some good quotes/ explanations from people closely involved in the process, and in general I think it’s useful to remind ourselves that the current campaign to combat global warming does not begin and end with An Inconvenient Truth.

You can watch the video online here. Highlights include W. out-climate-changing Gore in the 2000 election, and Christine Todd Whitman getting completely ambushed on Kyoto by the worst person in the world.

Sorry if this is old news to a lot of yall. I just watched it for the first time last night.
