How come bird safety gets tossed around in the context of wind energy but not city planning?

They must mean birds killed during the Broadway production.

It should be mentioned that most of the automobile deaths are thought to be caused by car-driving cats, which would make them the 2nd leading cause. No word on whether there are cats in those buildings.
